
When premium EV disruptor Zeekr set its sights on Sydney’s affluent Hills District ahead of opening its Castle Hill dealership, Brand iQ delivered a game-changing solution – the first full-sized automotive showroom inside a shopping centre. The activation at Castle Towers became a strategic springboard, immersing the brand in its target market while the permanent dealership took shape.
The challenge was immediate: no suitable pop-up retail space could accommodate a showcase of this scale. Brand iQ’s approach was distinctive – repurposing a vacant 300+sqm retail space into a premium showroom designed to display four vehicles and incorporate integrated test drive facilities.
The November launch marked an important milestone for Zeekr in Australia – the brand’s first shopping centre showroom in the country. Zeekr International’s VP acknowledged the activation as a defining moment, showcasing the brand’s commitment to luxury through a premium fit-out. Brand iQ amplified the experience with comprehensive marketing support including centre map integration, dedicated test-drive parking and media support – all delivering impact as part of the four-week launch campaign.
The seamless execution showcased Brand iQ’s ability to deliver sophisticated solutions under tight timelines. For Zeekr, the activation achieved two key objectives: building brand awareness in a high-value catchment and establishing a tangible retail presence. It also demonstrated how QIC shopping centres can support comprehensive multi-vehicle showrooms – a valuable model for brands seeking to strengthen market presence and accelerate growth.
