This latest retail development will span Levels 2 and 3, with a curated offering focused on performance wear and streetwear. Set to open later this year, the development brings together leading brands in a format designed to mirror how Hills District customers shop and spend their time.
JD Sports, Lululemon, LSKD and City Beach will make their Castle Towers debut, joined by refreshed concepts from Nike, Universal Store and Kookai Australia. The mix responds to growing demand for performance wear and lifestyle brands that work across fitness, leisure and social settings.
"Castle Towers is one of the most coveted super-regional assets in the country, supported by a strong catchment, exceptional transport links and consistent retail demand," says Luke Young, General Manager – Leasing. "Interest from leading retailers continues to outpace available space, and this precinct enables us to respond to that competitive tension with a format that supports long-term performance. It sets the centre up strongly for the next stage of growth."
The development follows the centre's successful Designer Precinct launch in November, which introduced brands including Aje, Kivari, Oroton, PE Nation and Tommy Hilfiger, with Polo Ralph Lauren set to open, alongside refreshed concepts from R.M.Williams and Camilla.
The two precincts serve the breadth of contemporary fashion demand – weekend athleisure and elevated designer pieces – with curated brand mixes in high-demand categories.
An additional 155 car spaces will support the expanded retail offering and anticipated growth in visitation as the site's broader development pipeline advances. Built Obayashi – renowned for its work on Atlassian's Sydney headquarters – has been appointed to manage construction, with work commencing this month.
